Arboricultural Consultancy | Plant Health Care
Since 2001 Arbor Australis Consulting has had a single overriding commitment underpinning every part of our business: -
To deliver informed practical arboricultural advice to our clients to help them manage their trees or project successfully.
Arbor Australis Team: All of our consultants meet the minimum AQF level 5 qualification required to assess, report and supervision of work around trees. We provide practical based solutions to issues that arise and proactively look for resolutions. The inclusion of two dedicated CAD operators complements our tree assessment team and allows efficient and timely delivery of documentation in house. Arbor Australis Consulting now has two offices, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast
Arboricultural Consultancy: Our services include all aspects of tree assessment and management from individual trees to large scale management plans. Our core business is providing a consultancy service for local councils and assisting them to manage their tree assets through:
- Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Tree Protection Plans focusing on a CAD based tree protection plan that links to clients engineering and landscape plan documentation. This allows for reporting and development of alternative engineering approaches to achieve tree retention.
- Tree Risk Assessments for documentation of large areas or individual trees. Our understanding and application of various risk assessment models allows us to demonstrate the limited risk the majority of trees pose.
- Survey and Data Collection (GIS and GPS mapping) is utilised in all aspects of our work to collect base information in a spatial format.
Pant Health Care: Like many people in this industry our team all became Arborist through a love of trees and the recognition of the benefits they provide to the urban environment. It was this passion that has driven the development of our Plant Health Care services. These services focus on reversing the adverse impacts of urban development on the soil.
The addition of the VOGT Geo Injector now provides us with the ability to aerate the soil and deliver the Biochar directly to the root zone. The more we utilise and understand Biochar the more excited we get about it and how it not only provides soil health improvement now, but it also has significant longevity. Combining this with the use of our other liquid soil treatments and utilising high quality mulch and compost we are seeing significant improvement in plant and tree health in our urban environment.
