What membership option should I choose?
All Arb Aus memberships start with a General Membership and anyone can join this category. Organisations and businesses can purchase Bulk General Memberships for 5 or more staff at a discounted rate.
Registered Memberships are all about professional recognition and a commitment to industry excellence. These memberships have prerequisites, additional benefits, and require approval by Arb Aus. In an unregulated industry, a Registered Membership identifies you as a qualified professional who maintains up to date knowledge and ethical practices. Membership Prices and Requirements

An open category available to any individual.
You must have a General Membership before you can apply to become a Registered Member.

Applies to 5 or more staff.
For more than 5 staff, each additional person is charged $160.00 GST Excl
You can invite members on your account to apply for Registered Memberships.

To become a Registered Practicing Arborist applicants must be approved by Arb Aus and must:
Have a General Membership (can be individual or part of a bulk membership account)
Comply with a Registered Members Code of Conduct
Have proof of Public Liability Insurance to a minimum value of $5 million
Have one of the following AQF Level 3 qualifications: RTF 30203 Certificate III in Horticulture (Arboriculture); AHC 30810, AHC 30816 or AHC 30820 Certificate III in Arboriculture
Complete 6 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) per calendar year. See our CEU policy in Related Documents
Registered members receive specific registered member e-logos and e-certificate that can be used to market your professional recognition, and your company listed in our online Directory.
Registered Membership is an add on to your General Membership and can be applied for in your Member Portal

To become a Registered Consulting Arborist applicants must be approved by Arb Aus and must:
Have a General Membership (can be individual or part of a bulk membership account)
Comply with a Registered Members Code of Conduct
Have proof of Public Liability Insurance to a minimum value of $5 million and Professional Indemnity Insurance to a minimum value of $2 million
Have one of the following AQF Level V qualifications: RTF 50203 Diploma of Horticulture (Arboriculture); AHC 50510, AHC 50516 or AHC 50520 Diploma of Arboriculture
Complete 12 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) per calendar year. See our CEU policy in Related Documents

To become a Registered Practicing and Consulting Arborist applicants must be approved by Arb Aus and must:
Have a General Membership (can be individual or part of a bulk membership account)
Comply with a Registered Members Code of Conduct
Have proof of Public Liability Insurance to a minimum value of $5 million and Professional Indemnity Insurance to a minimum value of $2 million
Have one of the AQF Level 3 and one of the AQF Level 5 listed in the Registered Practicing and Registered Consulting categories.

Arb Aus is affiliated with Arboricultural Association UK, International Society of Arboriculture, Society of Municipal Arborists, and Utility Arborist Association.
